For my next project, coral is going to be my main inspiration... It just has so many different shapes and textures, that I find it so unique! Now should I make earrings or a necklace....? hummmm... decisions, decisions!

Allllllmost done......!

So my piece is coming along slowly but surely! I finally finished the cuff that will go around the ankle, and started to play around with forming the copper wire to go up the leg. The final step is adding on the vines, and figuring out how to fasten them to the rest of the piece. If any one has any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated:)

Well I just spent the day with my niece pumpkin and apple picking, and I got a GREAT idea for my project! At the apple orchard there was this beautiful garden enclosed around a wrought iron fence that was covered in vines. The crazy flow of movement going on with the vines; and how they were entangeled around the fence really made me think that being "messy" is okay; and things don't need to be placed perfectly for them to be viewed as beautiful. I was so worried that my piece wasn't turning out the way I wanted it to be b/c the grape vines were going every which way; but now I have a whole new thought process! I can't wait to test it out and play!
