aaaaannndd... for the final piece....

Now those are just to name a few examples of the styles I enjoyed... that being said I decided to put my own little twist on things

Our final project due is flatware..I've gotta say I had no IDEA how many different styles of flatware there is out there!

The second project that was due had to make noise, and I based my piece off the ol' "ball-and-chain" The pieces we made had to make noise, and once this is worn the hanging elements do just that

These images are from the historical society showing iron work with such great detail- this semester I chose my theme to be based off art nouveau and when I saw this piece in the museum I had to shoot a photo of it

Well the end of the semester is finally here and I have a couple works to post showing my progress throughout the semester

This semester the theme I will be focusing on will be Art Nouveau- I love it's flow and movement and will try my best at getting myself outside of my "safe-zone!"

I'm quite behind on my posts but I assure you I will be caught up in no time!!!

So I've been using plasticine and wax to form my coral-like pieces, that's been the easy part- the second I start using the wire I can never seem to mimic what I've done! But- I know if i keep experimenting, I will get there...!
